IndiaFC ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of clubs, administrators, coaches, players, parents, and all users of the IndiaFC platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you use IndiaFC.org and related services.
Section 01
Information We Collect
1.1 Information provided by Clubs during registration
- Club name, city, state
- Administrator name, email address, phone number
- Club logo and badge
- Subscription plan selected
- Terms & Conditions acceptance timestamp, version, and device information
1.2 Information uploaded by Clubs
- Player and student profiles (names, photos, positions, dates of birth)
- Staff and coach details
- Match results, fixture data, and tournament information
- Financial records (stored only within the club's own portal)
- Event photos and gallery images
- Training batch and attendance records
1.3 Automatically collected information
- Browser type and device information (User Agent)
- IP address (at time of registration for legal compliance)
- Usage data and session information
- Firebase analytics data (aggregated, non-personal)
Section 02
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Register and manage your club account on the IndiaFC platform
- Send registration confirmation and Terms & Conditions acceptance emails
- Display your club profile on the IndiaFC public directory
- Enable the club management portal (fixtures, squad, finance, trials)
- Process subscription plans and communicate billing information
- Provide platform support and respond to queries
- Maintain legal records of Terms & Conditions acceptance
- Improve platform features and user experience
- Send important platform updates and policy changes
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Section 03
Data Storage & Security
All IndiaFC data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage), which provides enterprise-grade security including:
- Encryption at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Google Cloud infrastructure with 99.99% uptime SLA
- Role-based access controls per club
- Automatic backups
Each club's data is isolated in its own Firestore document path (clubs/{slug}/) and Firebase Storage folder. Club administrators can only access their own club's data.
Photos and media files are stored in Firebase Storage with access controlled by security rules. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
However, no system is completely secure. IndiaFC cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
Section 04
Data Sharing
We do not share your personal data with third parties except in the following cases:
- Google Firebase — our cloud infrastructure and storage provider
- EmailJS — used to send registration confirmation emails
- Netlify — our website hosting and serverless function provider
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or government authority
- Platform safety — to prevent fraud, abuse, or illegal activity on the platform
Public club information (club name, city, badge, plan) is visible on the IndiaFC public directory as part of the platform's intended functionality.
Section 05
Club Responsibilities for Player Data
Clubs uploading personal data of players, students, parents, coaches, and staff are solely responsible for obtaining proper consent from those individuals before uploading their information to IndiaFC.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Player photos and profile information
- Parent and guardian contact details
- Medical or health-related information
- AIFF registration numbers or government IDs
- Financial transaction records
IndiaFC shall not be liable for personal data uploaded by clubs without proper consent from the data subjects.
Section 06
Cookies
IndiaFC uses the following types of cookies and local storage:
- Session storage — to maintain your login session within the member dashboard. Cleared when you close the browser tab.
- Local storage — to remember your language preference and club settings.
- Firebase SDK cookies — used by Firebase for authentication and analytics.
- Google Translate cookies — used when you select an Indian language for the interface.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some platform features may not function correctly without them.
Section 07
Your Rights
As a registered club or user of IndiaFC, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about your club
- Correction — update or correct inaccurate club information via the portal settings
- Deletion — request deletion of your club account and associated data
- Data portability — export your club data using the Export Data feature in the member dashboard
- Withdraw consent — discontinue use of the platform at any time

Note: Deletion of club data is permanent and cannot be reversed. We may retain certain legal records (such as T&C acceptance logs) as required by law.
Section 08
Children's Privacy
IndiaFC's platform is designed for use by sports clubs and their administrators — adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 18.
However, clubs may upload profile information of minor players (students) as part of managing their squad. In such cases:
- The club is solely responsible for obtaining parental or guardian consent
- Player data of minors must be limited to what is necessary for club management
- Clubs must comply with applicable child protection and data laws
- Photos of minors should only be uploaded with explicit parental consent
If we become aware that personal data of a child has been uploaded without proper consent, we will take appropriate action including removal of that data.

Third-Party Services
IndiaFC integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
IndiaFC is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services.
Section 10
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify registered clubs via email where material changes are made.
Continued use of the IndiaFC platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
